IKIGAI - is the winner of RoBurn 2023 edition. We are thrilled. Prepare to go all "Japanese".

Ikigai is the concept behind the event that will manifest through visual elements, dress code, and ultimately, culinary delights. It is a chance you get to adopt different roles and traditions while transitioning to a predefined culture or historical period. A theme has the purpose of providing insights, or useful revelations into the subtleties of a given era, allowing you to enter a different timeline and encounter various characters. That can be an exquisite type of learning by having fun.

🎎Ikigai has its roots in Japanese culture.

"Iki" refers to ‘life‘; kai is a suffix meaning ‘the realization of what one expects and hopes for.' The concept conveys the “raison d'etre” (the reason for being), the convergence of one’s passion, mission, profession, and vocation. Designated as the epicenter of sacred and non-material individual desires, Ikigai can be thought of as the process of cultivating inner potential through what makes one's life truly meaningful. Laid in one sentence: the ongoing and responsible work we put towards improving the activities that confer meaning, rewards us with the long-awaited balance and harmony by nourishing the mind, body, and soul.
